Within the learning landscape, educational workshops stand alone as an immersive experience based on active learning and collaboration. When designed and executed well, workshops can have a transformational effect on learners: delivering inspiration, impact, and growth. The facilitator draws on the personal and collective energy of the group to guide learners towards their learning outcome.
But what about online workshops? Are they a mere translation of the in-person ones or do they require specific design and delivery skills? What are the tips and tricks of real-time online workshops and what is the science behind it? This talk will share lessons learned from facilitating more than 400 hours of interactive workshops for a wide range of audiences.
